The most famous, the PGA Championship Course created by Jack Nicklaus, will be the setting for the 2014 Ryder Cup. Should that pall, there is the King’s Course, the Queen’s Course, the PGA National Academy nine-hole course as well as a nine-hole pitch and putt course and 11 acres of practise ground. The many enchanting courses of St Andrews and Carnoustie are also within easy reach. Crieff Golf Club, three miles from Barley Bree, has a fine 18-hole golf course.
